Segundo a estimativa de popula\u00e7\u00e3o do IBGE (2015) tem 355.875 habitantes.<\/p>\n

Circundado pela Ba\u00eda de Vit\u00f3ria e pelo estu\u00e1rio formado pelos rios Santa Maria, Marinho, Bubu e Aribiri, o munic\u00edpio apresenta ilhas, encostas, enseadas, mangues e praias, elementos de grande recurso paisag\u00edstico.<\/p>\n
