Vamos utilizar a m\u00fasica &#8220;A Sky Full of Stars&#8221;, da banda Coldplay como ponto de partida para trabalhar as constru\u00e7\u00f5es do verbo to be &#8211; &#8220;I am&#8221;, &#8220;You are&#8221;, &#8220;He is&#8221;, &#8220;She is&#8221;, &#8220;We are&#8221; e &#8220;They are&#8221;, al\u00e9m de explorar algumas met\u00e1foras contidas na letra para descrever a si e o outro &#8211; &#8220;me&#8221;, &#8220;you&#8221;, &#8220;he\/she&#8221;, &#8220;we&#8221; e &#8220;they&#8221;. Para isso, descreveremos algumas ideias para trabalhar com a letra:<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">Atividade 1: Fill in the blanks e identifica\u00e7\u00e3o das met\u00e1foras<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Step 1<\/strong>: <mark style=\"background-color:#fff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Depois de ter escutado a m\u00fasica, comece a realizar a atividade com o &#8220;fill in the blanks&#8221; (conforme exemplo no <strong>pdf<\/strong> abaixo. Os alunos devem preencher os espa\u00e7os vazios com as palavras que est\u00e3o faltando &#8211; &#8220;heart, stars, arms, dark&#8221;. Depois que terminarem de preencher, escutar\u00e3o a m\u00fasica novamente para conferir as respostas. Essa etapa ajudar\u00e1 os alunos a se familiarizarem com a letra e praticarem suas habilidades de escuta.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Step 2<\/strong>: <mark style=\"background-color:#fff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Chame aten\u00e7\u00e3o para as met\u00e1foras: &#8220;You are a sky full of stars&#8221; &#8211; o autor da m\u00fasica usou elementos da natureza para descrever uma pessoa. A partir disso, apresente o vocabul\u00e1rio de elementos da natureza &#8211; &#8220;the sun, a tree, a flower, a bird, a cloud&#8221; (conferir todos os elementos no <strong>pdf<\/strong> abaixo), para os alunos se familiarizarem com a ideia da met\u00e1fora. Depois, mostrando o exemplo de frase no papel, pe\u00e7a aos alunos que escrevam frases como o exemplo &#8220;I am the sun&#8221;, &#8220;She is a flower&#8221;, usando o vocabul\u00e1rio aprendido para descreverem a si mesmo e os colegas. Os alunos v\u00e3o descrever a si mesmo ou o colega usando o verbo &#8220;to be&#8221; junto com o adjetivo retirado da caixa\/saco.
