Ap\u00f3s o exerc\u00edcio de for\u00e7a ocorre aumento tanto da s\u00edntese de prote\u00ednas miofibrilares quanto mitocondriais (WILKINSON et al, 2008). Pesquisa recente aponta que a resposta m\u00e1xima na magnitude da s\u00edntese prot\u00e9ica miofibrilar ap\u00f3s este tipo de exerc\u00edcio ocorre entre 60 e 90% de 1RM (KUMAR et al., 2009a). A ativa\u00e7\u00e3o de prote\u00ednas da cascata de sinaliza\u00e7\u00e3o que regulam a inicia\u00e7\u00e3o da tradu\u00e7\u00e3o, como Akt (ou PKB) e mTOR, 4EBP-1, p70S6k e prote\u00edna ribossomal S6, tem sido associada ao aumento da s\u00edntese prot\u00e9ica p\u00f3s-exerc\u00edcio (BAAR e ESSER, 1999; KARLSSON et al, 2004; DREYER et al, 2006; WILKINSON et al, 2008; VOLPI et al, 2008; KUMAR et al, 2009a, MAYHEW et al, 2009). <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.ufes.br\/lucasgf\/files\/2012\/02\/arnold_schwarzenegger_in_pumping_iron.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.ufes.br\/lucasgf\/files\/2012\/02\/arnold_schwarzenegger_in_pumping_iron.jpg?w=300\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a> Entretanto, Kumar et al (2009b), apontam que ainda h\u00e1 evid\u00eancias d\u00fabias quanto \u00e0 rela\u00e7\u00e3o precisa entre a extens\u00e3o das modifica\u00e7\u00f5es nas cascatas de sinaliza\u00e7\u00e3o intracelular e conseq\u00fcentes modifica\u00e7\u00f5es nas taxas de s\u00edntese prot\u00e9ica no m\u00fasculo esquel\u00e9tico em resposta ao exerc\u00edcio f\u00edsico. De fato, Greenhaff et al (2008) recentemente demonstraram que a infus\u00e3o de insulina e amino\u00e1cidos, apesar de provocar aumento significante na fosforila\u00e7\u00e3o da Akt e p70S6k de forma dose dependente, n\u00e3o resultou em aumento concomitante na taxa de s\u00edntese prot\u00e9ica no m\u00fasculo esquel\u00e9tico \u00e0 medida que a dose de insulina era aumentada. Al\u00e9m disso, Wilkinson et al (2008) verificaram que esta via de sinaliza\u00e7\u00e3o foi estimulada tanto pelo exerc\u00edcio de for\u00e7a quanto pelo de resist\u00eancia aer\u00f3bica, apesar da resposta sobre o fen\u00f3tipo do m\u00fasculo esquel\u00e9tico mostrar-se distinta de acordo com o est\u00edmulo. Est\u00e1 claro que se trata de um processo complexo, e que outros fatores est\u00e3o envolvidos nas respostas moleculares ao exerc\u00edcio. \u00c9 prov\u00e1vel que pesquisas posteriores esclare\u00e7am melhor a rela\u00e7\u00e3o temporal e de dose-resposta entre o treinamento de for\u00e7a, express\u00e3o e fosforila\u00e7\u00e3o de vias de sinaliza\u00e7\u00e3o intracelular e a s\u00edntese prot\u00e9ica muscular. <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:bold\">Refer\u00eancias:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Baar K, Esser K.
