Madureira<\/h5>\n<h2>O MEMBRO ROMUALDO DA FORMA\u00c7\u00c3O SANTANA<\/h2>\n<h4>A Chapada do Araripe \u00e9 uma forma\u00e7\u00e3o geol\u00f3gica de cerca de 12000km\u00b2 localizada nos estados do Cear\u00e1, Piau\u00ed e Pernambuco, com sequ\u00eancias estratigr\u00e1ficas de idades paleozoica e mesozoica (ASSINE, 1992), sendo esta rica em f\u00f3sseis eocret\u00e1ceos, que representam grupos de vertebrados como actinopter\u00edgios, condrictes, pterossauros, crocodilomorfos, quel\u00f4nios (BOOS, 2007); invertebrados como cop\u00e9podes, camar\u00f5es, gastr\u00f3podes, bivalves etc (NETO, 2005; DO PRADO, 2014; PINHEIRO <em>et al.<\/em> 2014); e plantas tais como gnetales, con\u00edferas etc (DE LIMA <em>et al.<\/em>, 2012).<\/h4>\n<h4>O Membro Romualdo da Forma\u00e7\u00e3o Santana \u00e9 uma das unidades dessa sequ\u00eancia alvo de in\u00fameras pesquisas, popularidade que se deve principalmente \u00e0 quantidade e \u00e0 qualidade dos esp\u00e9cimes encontrados nesse s\u00edtio paleontol\u00f3gico, comumente encontrados em concre\u00e7\u00f5es calc\u00e1rias caracter\u00edsticas (SARAIVA, 2007), predominantemente f\u00f3sseis de actinopter\u00edgios que frequentemente exibem preserva\u00e7\u00e3o dos tecidos moles e da tridimensionalidade corporal (MARTILL, 1990; MAISEY, 1991; MALDANIS, 2016), tra\u00e7os que revelam detalhes acerca desses animais, que viveram h\u00e1 mais de uma centena de milh\u00f5es de anos.<\/h4>\n<h4>O Laborat\u00f3rio de Paleontologia da Ufes conta com 25 actinopter\u00edgios oriundos do Membro Romualdo, pertencentes \u00e0s esp\u00e9cies<em> Rhacolepis buccalis<\/em>, <em>Tharrhias araripis <\/em>e <em>Vinctifer comptoni<\/em>.<\/h4>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><em>THARRHIAS ARARIPIS<\/em><\/h3>\n<h4>F\u00f3ssil muito comum, com tamanho m\u00e9dio de 30cm, ainda que pudessem alcan\u00e7ar 70cm. Juntamente com <em>Dastilbe<\/em>, representam os Gonorrhynchiformes no Membro Romualdo. (MAISEY, 1991). Todos os gonorrinquiformes, com exce\u00e7\u00e3o de Chanos chanos (<em>milkfish<\/em>), peixe muito consumido no Sudeste Asi\u00e1tico e nas Ilhas do Pac\u00edfico, s\u00e3o extintos (NELSON &amp; GRANDE, 2016). Seus hol\u00f3tipos (molde e contramolde) podem ser encontrados na Cole\u00e7\u00e3o Rocha do Museu Rocha em Fortaleza.<\/h4>\n<h4>O Laborat\u00f3rio de Paleontologia da Ufes possui uma \u00fanica rocha multifossil\u00edfera com tr\u00eas (3) indiv\u00edduos de <em>Tharrhias<\/em>, uma (1) concre\u00e7\u00e3o completa &#8211; ou seja, o peixe em um n\u00f3dulo, t\u00edpico do Membro Romualdo, e quatro (5) indiv\u00edduos em esp\u00e9cimes \u00fanicos.<\/h4>\n<div id=\"attachment_471\" style=\"width: 459px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.ufes.br\/paleontologia\/files\/2018\/09\/DSC_8535.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-471\" class=\" wp-image-471\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.ufes.br\/paleontologia\/files\/2018\/09\/DSC_8535.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"449\" height=\"177\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-471\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ufes-Pal 017 e Ufes-Pal 125, fragmentos de um mesmo indiv\u00edduo tombados individualmente devido a um equ\u00edvoco.<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_478\" style=\"width: 458px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.ufes.br\/paleontologia\/files\/2018\/09\/Ufes-Pal-083.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-478\" class=\" wp-image-478\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.ufes.br\/paleontologia\/files\/2018\/09\/Ufes-Pal-083.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"448\" height=\"252\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-478\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ufes-Pal 083, um dos esp\u00e9cimes que formam n\u00f3dulos. Podiam atingir 25cm de comprimento total e representam, juntamente com <em>Notelops brama<\/em>, os crossognatiformes no Membro Romualdo da Fm. Santana, ordem completamente extinta (NELSON &amp; GRANDE, 2016). Recentemente os primeiros e \u00fanicos cora\u00e7\u00f5es encontrados fossilizados foram estudados em esp\u00e9cimes de <em>Rhacolepis<\/em>, um avan\u00e7o para a compreens\u00e3o da evolu\u00e7\u00e3o do cora\u00e7\u00e3o de vertebrados (MALDANIS, 2016). Seu hol\u00f3tipo se encontra no Museu de Hist\u00f3ria Natural de Londres (POLCK <em>et al.<\/em>, 2015).<\/h4>\n<h4>Existem seis (7) indiv\u00edduos identificados como\u00a0<em>Rhacolepis buccalis <\/em>no acervo do Laborat\u00f3rio de Paleontologia da Ufes. N\u00f3dulo fragmentado, complementado pela pe\u00e7a Ufes-Pal 093.<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_482\" style=\"width: 411px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.ufes.br\/paleontologia\/files\/2018\/09\/DSC_6165.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-482\" class=\" wp-image-482\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.ufes.br\/paleontologia\/files\/2018\/09\/DSC_6165.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"401\" height=\"265\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-482\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ufes-Pal 093.<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_483\" style=\"width: 594px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.ufes.br\/paleontologia\/files\/2018\/09\/Sem-registro-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-483\" class=\" wp-image-483\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.ufes.br\/paleontologia\/files\/2018\/09\/Sem-registro-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"584\" height=\"168\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-483\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Esp\u00e9cime sem registro.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><em>VINCTIFER COMPTONI<\/em><\/h3>\n<h4><em>Vinctifer<\/em> faz parte da ordem Aspidorhynchiformes, a qual possui apenas uma fam\u00edlia, Aspidorhynchidae, um grupo extremamente especializado completamente extinto, conhecido do Jur\u00e1ssico M\u00e9dio ao Cret\u00e1ceo Superior (CANTALICE <em>et al.<\/em>, 2016).<\/h4>\n<h4>De morfologia caracter\u00edstica, <em>Vinctifer comptoni <\/em>possui rostro alongado e escamas altas e retas dispostas lateralmente ao corpo, e chegava a 60cm de comprimento. \u00c9 um dos peixes mais abundantes do Membro Romualdo. Assim como o hol\u00f3tipo de <em>Rhacolepis buccalis<\/em>, seu lect\u00f3tipo se encontra no Museu de Hist\u00f3ria Natural de Londres (POLCK <em>et al.<\/em>, 2015).<\/h4>\n<h4>Est\u00e3o armazenados no Laborat\u00f3rio de Paleontologia da Ufes oito (8) indiv\u00edduos. Em apenas tr\u00eas (3) indiv\u00edduos houve a preserva\u00e7\u00e3o de parte do cr\u00e2nio, o que facilitou muito a sua identifica\u00e7\u00e3o. Em outros quatro (4), apenas partes do tronco puderam ser observadas, juntamente com suas escamas t\u00edpicas.
